The duration of EMO Hannover 2025 will be shortened from six to five days in future. "Shortening the event by one day is a strategic decision aimed at making EMO Hannover even more efficient and more purposeful," said Dr. Markus Heering, Managing Director of the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW), the organizer of EMO, in describing the change.

Young companies to present a wide range of solutions for grinding technology at GrindingHub 2024.

Five production technology research institutes will be showcasing their current grinding technology projects at GrindingHub, which takes place in Stuttgart from May 14 to 17. They can be found at the Grinding Solution Park Science in Hall 10, Stand 10D20 and represent the who's who of grinding technology research in Germany.

140 German exhibitors will take part at CNC Machine Tool Fair (CCMT) 2024, taking place from 8 to 12 April in Shanghai. Occupying a substantial net space of 4,675 square meters, German companies will represent the largest foreign group.

Which highlights are definitely a must-see for visitors to GrindingHub 2024? The answer came from 14 exhibitors at an exclusive preview on March 21. They showcased their newest products and innovations to around 30 international trade journalists – around eight weeks before the major exhibition for the grinding technology sector opens its doors in Stuttgart from May 14th to 17th.

Sector remains world export champion, America was market with largest growth

Frankfurt am Main, 19 March 2024. – Last year, the German machine tool industry sold machines including parts and accessories to the value of EUR 9.5 billion abroad. That was 9 percent more than in 2022.
