    Markus Heering has a great deal of experience with trade fairs, as he and his associations have acted as institutional patrons for the drupa, security and formnext. Other key elements of his career have been the development of VDMA activities in the field of additive manufacturing within the relevant working group and trade association, for which he will continue to be responsible.

The trade fair organizer VDW (German Machine Tool Builders' Association), in cooperation with the IndustryArena business network, offers the grinding technology industry a top-tier platform under the 360°SPECIAL brand – even in the years when no trade fair is held. On 23 May 2023, companies will have the opportunity to pitch their new products and technologies to an international online audience and make contact with potential customers. The event will be presided over by an expert moderator and also include scientific presentations on current topics.

    The new home of grinding technology, GrindingHub, celebrated its premiere in Stuttgart under the banner of "Brings solutions to the surface" from 17 to 20 May 2022. More than 370 well-known manufacturers from 23 countries presented numerous innovations across the entire grinding technology process chain at the trade fair.

    After four eventful trade fair days METAV 2022 – the 22nd International Exhibition for Metalworking Technologies – is drawing to a close today.  By Friday afternoon over 180 exhibitors attracted to the tune of some 3,500 trade visitors. Around 22 percent came from abroad, mostly from Europe.
