Connectivity, and how it develops in the future, will affect all areas of production including planning, process optimization and quality assurance. The methods which machines use to communicate with each other are therefore key issues for manufacturers and customers alike. And that is why EMO Hannover 2023 from September 18 to 23 will feature a joint stand dedicated to this important topic for the entire industry.

“Visitors can gain an overview of all the latest products and innovations on stand H22 in Hall 9,” promises Dr. Wilfried Schäfer, Executive Director of the EMO organizer VDW (German Machine Tool Builders’ Association), Frankfurt am Main. “This is the place to be for anyone keen to experience Industry 4.0, Machine Learning, Predictive Maintenance, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and much more at first hand.”

15 industrial and research-based exhibitors will be presenting their top products and services on almost 500m² of exhibition space. Exhibiting companies include Algra S.p.A., ASM Technologies Limited, Coscom Computer GmbH, EIT Manufacturing Central gGmbH, Institute of Production Engineering and Machine Tools of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hanover, Konradin-Verlag Robert Kohlhammer GmbH, MC Technologies GmbH, Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH, RWTH Aachen University, Siemens AG, Smartes Teknoloji Yazilim Dan. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., Spanflug Technologies GmbH, SSV Software Systems GmbH and T-Systems International.

Microsoft Deutschland GmbH, Munich, is also participating. Nico Hartmann, Industry Lead Manufacturing, states: “We are pleased to be taking part in EMO Hannover 2023. This decision reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. EMO Hannover 2023 represents an excellent opportunity to showcase our latest technologies and solutions. We are proud to help our customers increase their productivity, optimize their business processes and develop cloud-based business models. We look forward to strengthening our partnerships with our customers and other leading industrial companies at EMO Hannover 2023, and to working with them on shaping the future of manufacturing.”

However, Ariane Wahrmann, Head of Marketing at Spanflug Technologies GmbH, Munich, knows that the Future of Connectivity Area also offers an excellent platform for small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups: “Our exhibition team is really excited about participating in EMO Hannover. In 2019, we presented our calculation software for machining companies in the Startup Area for the first time and were overwhelmed by the positive response. This year, we have not only expanded our presence at the show, but we will also be presenting the significantly enhanced solution package ‘Spanflug Make’. The latest version of the software now covers the entire quoting process – from the initial request to the customer-ready quote. In addition, it now offers several value-added functions, such as the efficient procurement of the necessary stocks. The perfect location for us? The Future of Connectivity Area in Hall 9, right next to the Innovation Forum.“
