The MTA Vietnam opens its doors to visitors today. After a two-year break due to the pandemic, Germany is once again participating with a German Pavilion, thus offering interested companies the opportunity to participate in the trade fair at low cost and with little effort.
The MTA Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) is the most important trade fair in Vietnam when it comes to machine tools, precision tools, metrology and other accessories. This year, the fair is smaller than before the pandemic, in terms of the number of exhibitors. However, the mood is good and many visitors are expected. The reason for the high expectation of visitor numbers is the growth of the Vietnamese economy, which currently has one of the highest growth rates in the world at almost 7 %. Whether the expectations will be fulfilled will be shown in the week of the fair ahead.
Under the slogan Made in Germany, the German joint stand is currently being set up, with 12 companies from Germany participating this year. Among them are prominent members of the VDW, e.g. Trumpf Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH, which also has a subsidiary in Vietnam.
